I want to make them feel a spectrum of emotions, from heartbreak to hope, from despair to desire. I want to make them addicted to the dark and twisted world I have created and eagerly anticipate the next installment of the series. My ultimate aspiration is to become a full-time author, who can dedicate myself to my craft and my loyal readers.

Author Social Media Strategy
Desi already has an established presence and following on Wattpad and had already started sharing her writing on Instagram and Facebook when we started working together. After establishing her brand identity, platform, email newsletter subscription form, and website, I created graphics and content to maximize her participation in established channels and helped her set up a Goodreads author account as well.
I established a 100-day plan for launching the book, in an abbreviated timeframe with only 3 weeks until the launch date. The pre-launch period was focused on building brand awareness and establishing connections with new and existing readers. We utilized a marketing mix of 11 of the 20 Content X types, focusing on author quotes, book excerpts, trivia, reader memes, and pre-launch reviews from ARCs.
Utilizing trend data for Instagram and TikTok hashtags in her industry and specific genre, I created a blend of preferred tags to attract a new audience. In addition to the book launch marketing campaign, I also designed a Christmas/Holiday gifting campaign to maximize the opportunity for holiday sales. Following that I utilized a campaign designed to collect and share reviews and successful sales of the book by offering a sneak peek of the 2nd book in the series.
At the end of the 100 days, the author will be ready to launch the sequel, and we will build on the momentum created from the first launch to sell both the sequel to existing readers and a package of both books to new readers.
